New Journey, New Blog

We set off to France today for a new period in our life in Europe.
Work still chugs on, but with only 12 shifts in 42, we have plenty of time to ourselves.
We decided those “spare” 30 days should be spent in Europe.

I’ll skip over the months of research and prep work and bring us up to today where we are now on the 4pm ferry instead of the 2pm sailing due to a couple of little incidents on the way.

We had a new inverter delivered yesterday morning as the original failed on Friday so I attempted to install that this morning but ran out of time.

We were making good time to Dover but we needed to fill up the gas before we left the country as we had no time to get a French adaptor.

The pump we found filled at 1 litre every 40 seconds and we took almost 50 litres. 30 minutes I had my finger presses to that damn “fill” button!

So we are on this ferry, now heading back to Dover for reasons as yet unknown!!
