We’ve just been out to France to visit and clean Amy-M after the winter. Jake and Cherie were in tow and all in all it went well.
The car blew a head gasket the weekend before we were due to depart, which was a costly affair, but it made it out and back regardless

Did not get a chance to get any more varnish on her topsides so that will have to wait till I go out again in June.
Visiting Cergy again brought back all the good memories we have of that port. The park walks in the summer mornings, the evening sound of the frog chorus, the restaurants, the friends we’d made, the countryside.
Our favourite French restaurant was closed the days we went which has been the case for the last three visits I’ve made!
Catching up Celine & Tanguy aznd their son Melvil was good and we saw our good friend Loic.
All in all, it reinforced my desires to spend more time in France and for Cherie, it removed the bad thoughts she been left with due to her illness.
